Transportation for Integrated Logistics

This digital, self-paced course offers a foundational yet specialised introduction to how transport works in the broader landscape of integrated logistics. It covers key areas such as freight management, transport efficiency, carrier management, import/export procedures, trade documentation, FTAs, trade liabilities and Incoterms. With a modular structure spanning five sections and a final 30-minute online exam, it equips learners with practical knowledge and awards a Certificate of Competency upon achieving at least 80% in the online examination. 

This course is jointly developed by Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM), and Logistics Institute of Singapore, with industry advisory from global providers and organizations that provide career pathways and job specifications for skills upgrading and mastery. 

Who should Enroll 

This program is ideal for logistics professionals across industries seeking to strengthen their expertise in transportation as part of a global supply chain. It is also well-suited for individuals or managers who wish to gain specialized competence in transportation and documentation processes, improve coordination with carriers and trade partners, and enhance their organization’s integrated logistics capabilities. 

Attaining a Competency Certificate 

Towards the end of the course, a learner will complete a 30-minute online examination, that comprises 25 multiple-choice questions. When the learner attains a minimum score of 80% for the online examination, the learner will attain a Certificate of Competency in Transportation for Integrated Logistics. This specialized Certificate of Competency is awarded by Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM) and is accredited by Logistics Institute of Singapore. 

Attaining an Accredited Designation Award 

Upon successfully attaining three (3) Competency Certificates, and maintaining an active membership with either SIPMM or the Logistics Institute of Singapore, a learner can qualify for the prestigious title of Accredited Sustainability Professional (ASP)..
